Letter 20th March

March 30th, 2012

Dear parents,

Next week is the last week of this term and we had hoped to hold a family fun quiz. However, this will clash with an event at Cragside School. As a result we will just be having a normal meeting, for whichever girls are not attending this event.

We had also hoped to hold an enrollment ceremony on this night, which will now be postponed until next term.

The leadership team would welcome any feedback regarding the pack holiday, the website and general administration of the unit. If you have any comments, please speak to one of the leaders.

We will return for the summer on 17th April when £15 subs will be due. We have not received payment from all parents from last term, please see a leader if you are unsure if you have paid.

Letter 17th Jan

January 29th, 2012

Dear parents,

We hope you have had a relaxing and happy festive break and we welcome you back to a fun filled new year.

We have set up a website for the unit, which is primarily to keep you informed of what we are doing, it has contact details, upcoming events and any information sent via letters will also be made available. If anyone has any suggestions for improvements or content, please just see one of the leadership team. The website is http://www.81stnewcastlebrownies.org.uk/ and will be updated regularly.

Please can all parents ensure we have correct, up to date information regarding you and your daughter. We need to be informed of any changes to address, emergency contacts, health issues or medication so we can maintain our records. We requested new health and safety forms to be completed in September, but have not received them all back.

There is a Thinking Day event being held on 18th February at Kenton School from 11-4. The cost is £5.00 per person, and girls will need to bring a packed lunch. The cost includes a special commemorative badge. The theme is ‘Save the Planet’ so there will be activities such as recycling crafts, games and talks. If you wish your daughter to attend, please return the enclosed form with your £5 payment by 31st January.
